Tanzania Breweries Limited, through its corporate affairs department and Safety department has joined the world in activities to mark the world Environment Week recently.
The environment week was marked by donating cleanness tools to the Ilala municipal worth 1700000, participating in the environment week launch at District commissioner ground, and lastly cleaning TBL entire surroundings.
The cleanness was participated by Tanzania Breweries Limited Managing Director Mr. Robin Goetzsche, Sales and Distribution Director, Nicholas Brook , marketing director David Minja,, special Projects Directors Phocus Lasway and other TBL staff.
‘As you all know that this is world’s environment day, so we are here to mark this week by cleaning the environment surrounding us.’ Says Tanzania Breweries Managing Director Robin Goetzsche.
TBL has the actions to clean the surroundings seasonally that why you can see the environment is always clean, added marketing Director, David Minja.
The world environment week was marked on June 5, 2010 at Mwembe yanga Grounds- Temake, whereby TBL was awarded a trophy and Certificate in the category of” Environmental Conservation Best Factory “.
The trophy was handed over by the representative of the DSM RC Hon Hawa Galawa, District Commissioner, and on behalf of TBL, Human Resources and Communication Director, Mr. Steven Kilindo was there to receive the Trophy.
