The Harusi Trade Fair, the nation's first direct to the consumer wedding resource, shall be held in the Swahili Coastal city and Economic Hub of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.

"Harusi" is a Kiswahili word which Means “wedding" in English. It was Conceptualized in late 2009 at a 24 HR Coffee Shop in the Early Hours of the Morning by Tanzania’s Renowned Designer Mustafa Hassanali who Solely Specializes in Couture Evening and Wedding Gowns.

Not only is he the Brain child behind this FIRST EVER Organized WEDDING FAIR but he is also the Person who has revolutionized the Fashion Industry in Tanzania and is the Organizer of EASTERN AFRICAS most respected Fashion Platform now in its THIRD year, the annual SWAHILI FASHION WEEK.

The Fair is geared to be a BI-ANNUAL event reaching over 100,000 about-to-be-married, their families and friends, actively involved in the wedding planning process.

The event occurs in large centers and follows a trade show format. Everything for the wedding – honeymoon & home is featured and on display.
