DAR SECONDARY SCHOOL CUP COMING SOON

Youths in Dar es Salaam will recently get a chance to participate in a tournament named “Dar Secondary Schools Cup” organized by a recently established NGO UYODEO, which aims at identifying different talents at different levels, help develop these talents and capacitate young people of the society to reach their potential and be utilized.

Upendo Youth Development Organization (UYODEO)is very much involved in football, this being the reason for setting up this event relying on its own experience in training and organizing smaller events and based on extensive network in Tanzanian soccer arena.

Speaking with This BLOG in Dar es Salaam the Honorary Member of UYODEO who is the Coordinator of ‘Dar Secondary School Cup’ Annick Verstraelen said the mission of the organization is to contribute to the government efforts to build a society where rituals and traditions are valued and entertained as part of cultural history but also part of modern society.

She added that also they aim at using these indigenous knowledge and skills to be better able to live a comfortable live tackling the typical 21st century problems.

She takes this opportunity to appeal for the goodwill for youth companies, institutions, organizations even individuals to give support in terms of sponsorship in order to make the event happen in a good shape for the benefit of our youngsters.

The motto of the DAR SECONDARY SCHOOLS CUP is “TUCHEZE PAMOJA”
