We often wonder how other countries, include African countries like Rwanda, have been able to transform themselves from poor to developed. In Tanzania, we have Vision 2025, which is a bold statement of Tanzania's desire to transform herself from rags to riches by year 2025.
The question remains, however, if Tanzanians can achieve that dream. There have been policy and structural changes, particularly in the microeconomic arena that have been made. Nevertheless, the speed at which transformation is taking place and the outcome of such reforms have left some wondering whether Vision 2025 will be attained.
As cultural transformation is a key element of progress, the show will focus on the cultural aspect, particularly on how Tanzania we have today is just a reflection of Tanzanians' own mindset.
Our guest will be Modesta Mahiga, who is young business leader in Tanzania.

The common factor to everyone who has ever accomplished or at least tried to accomplish anything in life is obstacles. The only person who will not face obstacles in life, is a person who has stopped to dream and therefore not trying to accomplish anything.
