To commemorate the International Women's Day Soma is planning a literary event on

Friday, 5th March, 2010 at the Café from 6.00 to 8 PM.

There will be a panel of at least 3 women fiction authors (and creative communicators
using diverse genre and media) who will share with the audience their writing
experiences, themes they address in their works, where they draw their inspiration from,
what challenges they have faced over time and what prospects they see for women and
women authors compared to their own times as we close the first decade of a new
millennium.

Issues raised by the panellists will be further discussed in an open forum punctuated by
readings of texts from some women writers, poetry recitation and spontaneous show of
talents.
